Tired of carrying floppies, paper tape, laptops, or that old hardware contraption around to all of your CNC's every time you need to download a file?
Predator DNC is the 32-bit DNC communications system that redefined how DNC (Distributed Numeric Control) applications would evolve over the past few years. With support for simultaneous RS232 communications (upload, download, etc.) to 256 CNCs, integrated DNC Explorer™ interface for NC code management, unsurpassed configurability, and the included Predator CNC Editor make Predator DNC the application of choice for the most demanding of shop floor requirements. Predator DNC supports a wide range of CNC communications for dripfeeding, downloading, and uploading via RS-232, Ethernet and wireless Ethernet.
Predator DNC (Direct / Distributed Numeric Control) is the backbone for a shop floor network. It is a flexible solution that allows users to access and manage CNC files from any server on their custom-defined network. Predator DNC supports upto 256 machine tools per PC, eliminating manual forms of data switch.
Predator DNC supports up to 256 CNC machines per PC for simultaneous send, receive, and DNC (drip feed) file transfers. Organize your CNCs by grouping them per building or cell. Connect your PCs and create an entire shop floor network.
Predator DNC keeps things simple with it’s Microsoft Office® and Windows® 2000 and XP Explorer compatible user interface. DNC Explorer includes standard features for drag and drop, shortcut menus, cut, copy & paste, object based menus, toolbars, tool tips, and online help. But it doesn't stop there, the entire interface allows you to completely customize exactly how you want users to interface with the software, how the CNCs are physically configured, and much more.
